Good news! After many years since the consultation with the General Directorate of the Merchant Marine was formulated, it has responded to one of the greatest concerns raised in the sector, and has done so favorably, concluding that IT IS NOW POSSIBLE TO USE IN A PRIVATE WAY BY ITS OWNER A VESSEL INTENDED FOR RENTAL with all legal guarantees.
To do this, these conditions must be met:
- Registration Tax must be paid, or, where appropriate, 4 years have elapsed since the first definitive registration of the boat in Spain
- That the private use is carried out in Spanish territorial waters by their Spanish owners
